by the village of Jai-cheong-hang, where some of the people of the
place seized him, in consequence of which
he lost an official document which
we have ascertained has got into your possession, this is
purposely written to beg that you will return
the said Official letter
for which we are prepared to pay you
the sum of 200 Taels. We beg
that in your great generosity you will return it to us so that our important matter may not be interrupted, for this we will be most grateful. Should
